Service Agreement

Last updated 2026-10-01

You accept this agreement when you pay for a cleaning. Please read it – the cancellation and liability sections matter.

1. Services

Houskeep ("we", "us") will provide residential cleaning services at the address and on the date and time selected during booking, according to the checklist for the service tier you purchased (Standard, Premium, or Deep Clean). Estimates are based on square footage and the details you provide; if the home's condition differs materially from what was described, we may adjust the scope or price with your approval before work begins.

2. Payment

Full payment for a one-time cleaning is collected at the time of booking through our payment processor, Stripe. Add-on services agreed upon on-site will be charged to the same payment method.

Recurring plans (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum): the first visit is paid when you subscribe and your card is saved with Stripe. You authorize us to charge that card for each later visit approximately 24 hours before the visit, at the per-visit price shown in your account. We email you before every charge. Per-visit prices reflect your home's size and may change with at least 30 days' email notice.

3. Cancellations and rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled start time. Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours' notice, and situations where our team cannot access the home at the scheduled time (lockout), are subject to a $100 cancellation fee, which will be deducted from your refund.

For recurring plans these terms apply to each visit: skipping a visit with less than 24 hours' notice carries the $100 fee. Skipping earlier is free and nothing is charged for that visit.

4. Access and home preparation

You agree to provide safe access to the home at the scheduled time (including any gate codes, keys, or alarm instructions) and to secure pets as needed. Please put away valuables, cash, and fragile items before our arrival.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, Houskeep is not responsible for any loss, breakage, or damage to property, furnishings, fixtures, appliances, or personal items that occurs during or as a result of the services, including but not limited to items that are improperly secured, previously damaged, worn, or unstable, and damage resulting from the normal use of standard cleaning products on surfaces. You agree that our total liability arising from any service will not exceed the amount you paid for that service.

Any concerns must be reported to us within 24 hours of service completion so we can address them.

6. Satisfaction

If something was missed, tell us within 24 hours and we will return to re-clean the affected area at no charge.

7. Communications

By booking you agree to receive transactional emails about your appointment. If you opt in to text messages, we may send appointment reminders and arrival notifications. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out.

If you opt in to marketing emails (tips and offers), you can unsubscribe at any time from your account or from the link in any such email. Transactional emails about your bookings are not affected.

8. Recurring plans

A plan repeats your chosen service on the same weekday and time at the cadence of the plan (weekly, every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks). When that slot is unavailable we book the nearest open time and tell you; you can change it from your account.

Included services (for example a fridge or oven clean on certain visits, or a quarterly Deep Clean on Platinum) follow the schedule shown on your plan page. Same-cleaner preferences are honored whenever that cleaner is available; on Platinum we prioritize your cleaner's availability when scheduling.

You may pause or cancel your plan at any time from your account with no plan cancellation fee; visits already inside the 24-hour window follow section 3. Larger homes are priced by living area and may require more than one cleaner; the price shown is for the whole crew.

9. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in the county where the service was performed.
